Brazzaville

               Brazzaville is the capital and largest city of the Republic of the Congo and is located on the Congo River. As of the 2001 census, it has a population of 1,018,541 in the city proper, and about 1.5 million in total when including the suburbs located in the Pool Region. 
              The main landmarks of Brazzaville are: St Anne's Basilica (Basilique Sainte-Anne du Congo), Nabemba Tower (Tour Nabemba), the Congressional Palace, Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza Mausoleum, Avenue de la Paix, Poto-Poto, Palais du Peuple, L'hôtel de ville, Ex-cinéma Le Vog, Case des Messageries Fluviales, Lycée Savorgnan de Brazza, Château d'eau de Ngangouoni, Palais Épiscopal.
